In a video shared online by Meloni, Modi is seen handing over the chocolates as the two leaders laugh during their meeting. “Thank you for the gift,” Meloni wrote in the caption accompanying the clip. Modi met the Italian prime minister after arriving in Rome on Tuesday, (19 May) on the last leg of his five-nation visit. The two leaders then undertook a visit to the iconic Colosseum, where they engaged in deep conversation over a wide range of subjects.
