Israeli authorities have said that 430 activists aboard a Gaza-bound aid flotilla were en route to Israel, after their vessels were intercepted at sea.

ANKARA, Turkey (AP) — Israel's navy intercepted an activist flotilla in waters off of Cyprus on Monday, halting the group's latest effort to challenge a blockade of Gaza.

Israeli forces were intercepting a Gaza-bound aid flotilla on Monday after it set sail from Türkiye last week, with organizers saying one of the vessels was stopped west of Cyprus.
