ASABA - IMMEDIATE past Governor of Delta State, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa has emerged as flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the Delta North Senatorial district for the 2027 general election.

Dafinone defeated the former Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege, by a massive margin across the eight local government areas of the district.

SaharaReporters gathered that Okowa polled 113,309 votes to defeat Ned Nwoko, who scored 2,612 votes, while Mariam Ali secured 40 votes.
