The Presiding Judge of the Jos Judicial Division of the National Industrial Court, Hon. Justice Ibrahim Galadima, has dismissed a suit filed by disengaged staff of Jos Electricity Distribution Company in the case of Mr Aaron & 44 Others vs Jos Electricity Distribution, for lacking merit. The claimants had sought the payment of ₦16.5 million in alleged employment entitlements, but the court held that they failed to provide credible and sufficiently particularised evidence to support their claims, which it described as special damages requiring strict proof.
