Wes Streeting has resigned at Britain’s health secretary, saying that he has “lost confidence” in Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s leadership and that it would be “dishonourable and unprincipled” to remain in his government.

A number of Streeting’s allies resigned from their ministerial posts on Tuesday and called for Keir Starmer to quit

The meeting comes as four ministers resigned and more than 80 Labour MPs called for Sir Keir to go.
