TVK MLA wants police to curb sale of ganja in Madurai

Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam MLA from Madurai East Assembly constituency S. Karthikeyan has appealed to the Commissioner of Police (Madurai City) to curb sale of narcotic substances in Madurai, especially, in his constituency. The MLA said narcotic substances, especially ganja, was available near markets and educational institutions. Madurai East constituency, he said, was thickly populated and had a mix of urban and semi-urban areas. Strict enforcement by the authorities would help public keep away from the menace.
