A Greek passenger evacuated from the cruise ship MV Hondius following an April hantavirus outbreak has tested negative for the virus and remains in good health, Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis said on Thursday.

A New Zealand passenger from the hantavirus-stricken MV Hondius cruise ship is in hospital quarantine in Taiwan, Taiwanese health authorities said Friday.

The individual was taken to the hospital to receive care along with their spouse, who also has mild symptoms, according to the Public Health Agency of Canada.

The patient is stable, the symptoms remain mild at this point, British Columbia health officer Bonnie Henry said
