The IDF said it had targeted key transport infrastructure across Iran on Tuesday (7 April). Eight rail bridges and major road sections were targeted to disrupt the movement of weapons and military equipment by the Iranian regime, according to a detailed map released on X by the Israeli government. The strikes hit multiple cities, including Tehran, Karaj, Tabriz, Kashan, and Qom, with civilians warned to avoid train travel in the affected areas ahead of the operation. US President Donald Trump has issued a warning to Iran, saying: “A whole civilisation will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don’t want that to happen but it probably will.”

American and Israeli strike targets have expanded to include bridges, steel plants and structures linked to the health sector, all of which are essential for the population.
