DUBAI: The United Arab Emirates and Kuwait said Monday their air defenses were actively engaging a fresh wave of Iranian missiles and drones, as Gulf states braced for another day of strikes targeting their territory. The UAE defense ministry said air defense systems were “actively engaging with missiles and UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) threats,” adding that sounds heard across the country were the result of ongoing interception operations.
