Ten years after Alejandro Aravena, Radic has become the second Chilean to be awarded what is considered the Nobel Prize of architecture.

The architect, whose experimental designs include a doughnut-shaped pavilion and a restaurant held up by boulders, was praised for his “radical originality.”
