LONDON: The drone attack on the British military base at Akrotiri in Cyprus originated from Lebanon, Cypriot Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos said on Sunday. The attack last Sunday on the Royal Air Force base, using suspected Iranian Shahed drones, caused minimal damage and no casualties. Kombos said that “the focus must now be on the Lebanese front and no possibility can be ruled out,” the Syrian Arab News Agency reported.
