Huge flames and thick plumes of smoke were seen rising from an oil refinery in Tehran after the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reportedly carried out airstrikes on fuel facilities in the capital. According to the IDF, around 20 large oil storage tanks were targeted in the attack on Saturday (7 March), which caused a major fire at the Aqdasieh fuel depot. “The strike significantly deepens the damage to the military infrastructure of the Iranian terrorist regime,” the IDF wrote.
