Rome to charge tourists for access to Trevi Fountain

City officials said Friday that visitors will have to pay €2 to get close to the Italian capital's Trevi Fountain starting in February. The site has attracted an average of 30,000 tourists per day most of this year, Rome's mayor told reporters.
