The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions movement on Wednesday called for a boycott of English rock band Radiohead's newly announced tour, citing the band's alleged silence on Israel's offensive in Gaza and ties to Israeli musician David Tassa. The band is returning to the stage for the first time in seven years, with shows scheduled in November and December in Madrid, Bologna, London, Copenhagen, and Berlin.

Activists have asked fans to spurn the gigs until the band ‘convincingly distances itself’ from guitarist Jonny Greenwood performing in Tel Aviv during the Gaza war

The band confirmed today that they would be playing at venues this winter across Europe and in London, including a four-day residency at The O2 arena in November.
