IDF chief, top brass to Israeli gov't: Utilize leverage over Hamas to reach hostage deal

Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir and other top army officials have told members of the government that Israel should take advantage of the leverage that has been obtained over Hamas to reach an agreement to free the hostages in Gaza, even a partial deal that would see only some of the hostages released.
