Labor chief rejects general strike despite hostage families' call for economic shutdown
Israel's largest labor federation said on Monday it would not call a general strike on Sunday in protest of the government's plan to take over Gaza, following a meeting with families of hostages held there and bereaved families, vowing instead to support workers who "strengthen the families and support the fight for the hostages' return."
