Ukraine is ready to refrain from striking energy facilities in Russia, provided there are no attacks on Ukrainian energy facilities, critical infrastructure, or food supply chains.
This was stated in a Telegram post by President Volodymyr Zelensky, according to Ukrinform.
“If our partners are ready to ensure that Russia genuinely refrains from striking our power grid, other energy facilities, critical infrastructure, and food supply chains, then we are, of course, ready to ensure that we do not carry out such strikes. This must be reliable, long-term, and have a real impact on people’s lives—not something that falls apart after the Russians hold their ‘elections’ and get a temporary reprieve on gasoline and diesel prices. The war must end. And a de-escalation measure regarding critical infrastructure could be the first step toward peace. “We expect concrete proposals from our partners,” the post states.

It is noted that Ukraine has proposed to its partners that they secure an agreement with Russia that would halt the destruction of Ukraine’s critical infrastructure.
