Weekend assaults on railways, energy, and border infrastructure The president highlighted that overnight and early morning bombardments on Sunday struck national energy facilities, the Ukrzaliznytsia railway network, commercial enterprises, and residential buildings across multiple provinces. In the southern port city of Odesa, Russian forces carried out sustained combined missile and drone strikes that damaged residential high-rises, warehouses, and a botanical garden, injuring at least five civilians. Zelensky noted that emergency and utility crews were actively conducting restoration operations across numerous western regions following overnight strikes.
