Credit: Video Obtained by ReutersThe Israeli military told Haaretz that an initial probe determined that a soldier who was filmed shooting a Palestinian man in the leg for no apparent reason earlier on Saturday had violated IDF rules of engagement.Footage of the incident shows an IDF soldier, accompanied by a group of Israeli settlers, aiming his rifle at a group of Palestinian men standing in an agricultural field near the village before opening fire and hitting one man in the leg.The shooting took place during a settler incursion onto land belonging to the village of Faqqu'a, near Jenin in the northern West Bank.
