An 88-year-old woman has been found dead at her home as police arrest a man, 36, on suspicion of murder.Thames Valley Police rushed to a home in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, at around 2.20pm on Thursday following reports of an 'unexplained death'.Inside a property on Appleford Drive officers found the body of Jill Gant.A murder investigation has been launched which led to the arrest of a 36-year-old man, from Abingdon, on suspicion of murder.He remains in police custody. The force said that Ms Gant's family have been informed and they are being supported by specially trained officers.
