Greece reported 10 violations of its airspace and 10 violations of the Athens Flight Information Region by Turkish aircraft over the Aegean Sea on Friday.

Six Turkish F-16 fighter jets, four of them armed, flew in three pairs over the northeastern, central and southeastern Aegean, along with three drones, Greece’s Armed Forces General Staff said in a statement.

Two of the 10 airspace violations by the armed F-16s led to encounters with Greek fighter jets.
