According to a statement from police spokesman DSP Mansir Hassan, the police received a report on September 5 that a body had been found along Mai Angwa Street, Romi.
The Kaduna State Police Command has arrested a man identified as Jatau in connection with the death of his girlfriend, Rebecca Jeremiah, whose body was discovered in the Romi area of Chikun Local Government Area.
According to a statement from police spokesman DSP Mansir Hassan, the police received a report on September 5 that a body had been found along Mai Angwa Street, Romi.
Officers from the Romi Outstation responded and took the victim to St. Gerald Hospital, Kakuri, where she was pronounced dead. Her body has since been deposited at the hospital mortuary pending an autopsy.
