Over 18 days and nights, audiences are invited to discover work that challenges assumptions, provokes conversation and celebrates the power of theatre to connect, inspire and expand understanding of the world.A rare 1951 radio recording of All About Eve becomes the starting point for RADIO BETTE, as acclaimed New York company The Goat Exchange channels the voices, glamour and glorious theatricality of Hollywood icons including Bette Davis, Marilyn Monroe & more. This world premiere promises a smart, mischievous and fun night at Dublin’s Gaiety Theatre. As part of this fantastic prize, the lucky winner plus three guests will enjoy a sumptuous dinner from the specially curated menu at The Mint Bar in Dublin’s College Green Hotel, accompanied by bespoke signature cocktails expertly crafted by the hotel’s mixologists. And that’s just the beginning. Dublin Theatre Festival brings 18 days of unmissable theatre, all over Dublin, with 26 productions from extraordinary Irish and international artists. Expect world premieres, international sensations and Festival favourites, from Dead Centre’s ZINC and Brokentalkers’ Heroes of Tomorrow to Florentina Holzinger’s visually spectacular TANZ, Druid’s A Moon for the Misbegotten, Irish National Opera’s Testament, Xnthony’s gloriously irreverent Lourdes, The Musical!, packed with holy bangers and emotional belters and a whole lot more!To encourage audience discovery, the Festival is shaped around four thematic pathways.
