The overall numbers beat the NFL.”The figures for the game won’t be available until next week, according to NBC, but last year saw more than 20 million tune in to watch the first game of the season. Trump’s Thursday night speech to close the convention also clashed with the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams game.
