Fox News beat two of its cable news competitors in overall views during President Donald Trump’s speech on the Republican midterm convention‘s opening night on Wednesday.The network averaged 2.5 million total viewers and 229,000 viewers in the 25-54 age demographic throughout the nearly two-hour speech, according to the preliminary cable ratings from Nielsen Media Research. The conservative outlet peaked at 2.8 million total viewers at 9:45 p.m. Wednesday.
