The Federal Government has assured parents, guardians and students of safety as all Federal Unity Colleges nationwide resume academic activities on Sept. 14.

‎This is contained in a statement issued on Friday by Mrs Folasade Boriowo, Director, Press and Public Relations, Federal Ministry of Education, on behalf of the Minister, Dr Tunji Alausa.

‎Alausa said that necessary arrangements had been put in place to ensure a safe, smooth and seamless commencement of the new academic session.

‎“The safety and wellbeing of students and staff remain central to the Federal Government’s commitment to providing a secure and conducive environment for teaching and learning,” Alausa said.

‎The minister said relevant security agencies had been duly informed of the resumption arrangements and were maintaining heightened vigilance around the Federal Unity Colleges and their immediate environments.
