The Tecware Spectre 75, on paper, sounds like a great mechanical keyboard — and it almost is. Its linear switches are responsive and lovely to type on, and the keyboard packs 1,000Hz polling for casual gamers. There’s also an LCD screen but janky companion software makes customization frustrating; stock switch choice is limited; the build and design are lackluster; and the keyboard becomes unresponsive after some time. Though it costs just $79, it’s not the best investment.
