EVgo said it opened the largest non-Tesla EV fast charging station in the City of Los Angeles.
The new station has 18 plugs that can deliver up to 350 kW of power.
But even with all the modern tech, the company is still offering support for the dying CHAdeMO connector.
EV drivers in Los Angeles have a new fast charging station where they can quickly top up their cars’ batteries. EVgo, one of the biggest charging networks in the country, says its new site on S Robertson Blvd is the largest non-Tesla EV charging station in the City of LA, with a total of 10 stalls and 20 plugs that can deliver up to 350 kilowatts.
That’s great news, but what makes this location a little more interesting is that it still offers CHAdeMO support. That’s the type of charge port used by the two previous generations of the Nissan Leaf, as well as some Japanese-made plug-in hybrids, like the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV.
