Russian drones struck two gas stations in Kyiv on Friday, Sept. 11, injuring at least four people during a renewed aerial attack on the Ukrainian capital.According to the Kyiv City Military Administration (KMVA), one drone hit a gas station in the city’s Dniprovskyi district, while another strike was recorded at a gas station in the Obolonskyi district.JOIN US ON TELEGRAMFollow our coverage of the war on the @Kyivpost_official.“According to preliminary information, a UAV [unmanned aerial vehicle] hit a gas station in the Dniprovskyi district. Emergency services are heading to the scene,” the KMVA said.Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko later said the gas station in the Obolonskyi district had been hit twice.“According to preliminary information, two people were injured in the Obolonskyi district as a result of the enemy attack,” the KMVA reported.The administration subsequently updated the casualty count, saying: “As of 10:40 a.m., four people are known to have been injured as a result of the enemy attack.”Authorities had not immediately disclosed the victims’ conditions or the full extent of the damage at either site.An air raid alert was declared in Kyiv at around 9:10 a.m. due to a drone threat. Authorities raised the danger level from yellow to red at 9:46 a.m. as the attack continued.Kyiv faces repeated drone attacksOn Thursday, a Russian jet-powered drone struck an Ukrnafta gas station in Kyiv’s Holosiivskyi district, injuring four people. Fires damaged a car, a nearby public transportation stop, and an eight-story nonresidential building.
