Chennai Metrowater will hold open house meetings in its area offices across the city on Saturday between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. to address grievances of residents. A press release said such meetings are held every second Saturday of the month.Residents may present their grievances regarding water supply and sewage disposal, water and sewer taxes and charges, and check the status of pending water and sewer connections during the meetings. Metrowater superintending engineers would chair these meetings. Residents may also clarify doubts about maintenance of rainwater harvesting structures.Piped water supply to north Chennai areas resumesThe work to repair a major pipeline carrying drinking water from the Puzhal treatment plant along GNT Road was completed and piped water supply was resumed to north Chennai areas during early hours of Thursday.A press release said many areas falling in zones- Manali, Madhavaram and Thiru.Vi.Ka.Nagar, were provided with additional tanker water supply since September 7.
