In an interview with Ukrinform, Major Vladyslav Stadnichenko, a senior officer in the center’s Training Process Organization Section, spoke about what motivates them to defend Ukraine and what specialties they choose.

FOREIGNERS CHOOSE THE AIR ASSAULT FORCES THEMSELVES

Ukrinform (UI): The 199th Training Center periodically posts stories on its social media about foreigners undergoing your basic military training (BMT). Tell us, how do they end up in the Air Assault Forces?

Vladyslav Stadnichenko (VS): Foreigners choose the Air Assault Forces themselves. They contact the recruitment centers of our brigades or the 2nd Air Assault Forces Recruitment Center (located in Zhytomyr – Ed.), where they undergo screening and are told about the available positions. They then decide for themselves where and in what positions they want to serve.
