Canada is ready to join the European FREYJA anti-ballistic missile program.
This was stated in a Telegram post by President Volodymyr Zelensky, according to Ukrinform.
The post said that during his meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, the Ukrainian President discussed options for ensuring Ukraine’s financial stability for this year and the next.
Zelensky also spoke about Russia’s continued ballistic missile and drone strikes.
“Mark assured me that Canada is ready to join our European anti-ballistic missile program FREYJA with its technologies. This is a necessary and timely step. There will also be additional defense deliveries,” the President said.
