During his visit to Canada, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will meet with Prime Minister of Canada Mark Carney, with the talks expected to focus primarily on protecting Ukraine’s skies, preparing for winter, and strengthening the country’s resilience.
The head of state announced this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“Arrived in Canada. Canada has been and remains one of our closest partners. We value all the support from Canadians and the decisions that help Ukraine stand strong and protect our people,” Zelensky said.
He noted that a number of important meetings and agreements are planned in Canada, “that will shape our cooperation and solidify the already strategic level of our relationship for years to come.”
Zelensky will meet with Prime Minister Mark Carney.
