Therapy was once considered a topic reserved for private conversations, personal crises, or severe mental health struggles.

Today, however, a generation is changing that perception.

Gen Z is talking about therapy more openly than any generation before them, discussing topics such as anxiety, burnout, boundaries, self-esteem, and emotional well-being on social media, in classrooms, and even in workplaces.

What makes this shift remarkable is not just that more young people are seeking therapy, but that they are helping to normalise conversations about mental health.

For many members of Gen Z, therapy is no longer viewed as a last resort.
