In the 2023/2024 La Liga season, he became the youngest player to start a La Liga game at 16 years and 38 days old, surpassing a 2012 record by Fabrice Olinga with Malaga. He also broke the record for the youngest player to provide an assist in La Liga just a few days later, and the youngest La Liga goalscorer in October 2023. After helping Spain to enter the Euro final in 2024, he became the youngest player to win a major international trophy.
