OKX has introduced pre-IPO markets and tokenized stocks for eligible European traders, expanding its platform beyond traditional crypto trading and giving customers access to private-company exposure and public equities around the clock.

The exchange is initially offering pre-IPO X-Perps tied to OpenAI and Anthropic. Traders can take leveraged long or short positions on the implied valuations of the private companies, with leverage of up to 10x and the ability to open or close positions at any time. OKX said it will continue adding pre-IPO markets as new opportunities become relevant.

The tokenized stock offering launches with 100 markets covering companies including SpaceX, Google, NVIDIA and Palantir, along with SPY and QQQ ETFs. Customers can buy, sell or convert the tokens and trade them outside regular market hours using limit, market, stop, TWAP and Iceberg orders. Stock positions can be posted as collateral for X-Perps and used with DCA and Grid trading bots.

The tokens can be moved on-chain through deposits and withdrawals, including to self-custody wallets. They are designed to track the underlying stock price but do not give holders direct ownership of the shares or voting rights.
