Amazon $AMZN announced six additional launches with Arianespace on Wednesday, bringing the total number of launches the e-commerce giant has booked with the European rocket company to 24, as Amazon works to deploy its Amazon Leo satellite broadband network.

The deal was announced at the International Space Summit in Paris. Arianespace's parent company, ArianeGroup, is a partnership between Airbus and Safran. In a statement, Arianespace CEO David Cavaillolès said partnerships of this kind are what allow Europe to build out the infrastructure it needs in space.
