US spot Bitcoin ETFs just snapped a three-week inflow streak, with investors pulling roughly $166.8 million across September 8 and 9. The move came as Bitcoin prices sat in the $78,000 to $79,000 range, a zone that apparently gave institutional allocators enough reason to trim rather than add.
The entire spot Bitcoin ETF complex has attracted approximately $55.45 billion in cumulative net inflows since the products launched in early 2024, and total assets under management sit at around $99.3 billion.
Where the money left
The selling accelerated sharply on the second day. September 8 saw net outflows of $46.6 million, according to data from SoSoValue and Farside Investors. September 9 nearly tripled that figure, with $120.2 million walking out the door.
Ark 21Shares’ ARKB was the biggest culprit, shedding approximately $78 million on September 9 alone.
