Nvidia partners with Aussie companies to bring 2GW online by 2027

Nvidia is partnering with companies in Australia to help expand AI infrastructure capacity in the country.

The chip designer is collaborating with companies including Firmus, Sharon AI, Iren, ResetData, Megaport, CDC, NextDC, and AirTrunk, with the target of bringing 2GW of compute online by 2027.

The companies are collaborating to expand land, power, and shell capacity to host Nvidia infrastructure and to support the country's demand for AI compute. The partners will operate AI data centers with the Nvidia DSX platform.
