Isithombe AmaZulu FC head coach Arthur Zwane is happy with the balance of his squad, as they gear up to face Marumo Gallants at Princess Magogo in Saturday's league clash.

AmaZulu head coach Arthur Zwane believes his squad possesses the depth and balance to challenge near the top of the Betway Premiership, with Saturday’s home clash against struggling Marumo Gallants offering the next opportunity to build on an impressive start.

Usuthu currently sit fourth on the table after five matches, collecting 10 points from three wins, a draw, and a single defeat. Only Mamelodi Sundowns, Orlando Pirates, and Kaizer Chiefs sit above them.

Zwane's side will look to maintain that momentum when they host Gallants at Princess Magogo Stadium in KwaMashu on Saturday, though the coach maintains there is little point in signing players simply for the sake of it.

AmaZulu made several key moves during the off-season, including bringing former midfielder Siphesihle Maduna back to the club from TS Galaxy. For Zwane, the priority is maximising the potential of the current group while continuing to reward young players who have already proven they can perform at Premiership level.
