Maybe the pain of finishing just shy of a CAF qualification was a bit painful for AmaZulu head coach Arthur Zwane to stomach, because he thinks it's about "high time" the club adds silverware to their cabinet.
Zwane was speaking at the ahead of the new Betway Premiership season launch in Johannesburg on Wednesday when he said he strongly felt the club was going to win silverware this time around. The retention of a their fan base hinges on winning as well, to an extent.
Last season, AmaZulu played a consistent game throughout the 30 matches, finishing in fourth spot but couldn't muster up the fortitude to surpass Kaizer Chiefs.
"It's quite important. If you want people to support you and follow you, you've got to start winning. And silverware, you know, is one of the things that are very important for every club in the PSL.
