A Ukrainian drone attack in the southern Voronezh region killed a woman, local authorities said, as other strikes across the country damaged infrastructure and wounded dozens of people.
Voronezh Region Governor Alexander Gusev said a woman identified only as having been born in 1983 was killed when a drone crashed into a house in the town of Borisoglebsk. Two others were injured, he said.
In a separate seaborne drone attack on the Black Sea city of Sochi, 28 people were injured, emergency officials said.
Further to the east, in the North Caucasus republic of Dagestan, acting regional head Fyodor Shchukin said Ukrainian strikes sparked fires at a seaport and a theater in the capital city of Makhachkala. He said both fires were quickly put out.
Unverified reports said the Makhachkala Commercial Sea Port, Russia’s only deep-water port on the Caspian Sea, was hit in the attack.
