Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has arrived in Canada for a three-day visit.
According to a Ukrinform correspondent, this was announced by the office of Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.
“Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and First Lady Olena Zelenska are visiting Canada from September 9 to 11. The visit will highlight Canada’s ongoing leadership in supporting Ukraine and underscore our unwavering commitment to a just and lasting peace,” Carney’s office said.
It is noted that the President and First Lady will attend events in Calgary, Toronto, and North Bay. “The visit’s agenda will focus on shared Canadian-Ukrainian priorities, including deepening defense, economic, and energy cooperation,” the office of the Canadian Prime Minister confirmed.
We would like to add that during his stay in Canada, Volodymyr Zelenskyy will participate in a Canadian government retreat.
