Throughout August, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continued a systematic campaign to strike at the operational rear and the military-economic potential of Russian forces using “middle strike” capabilities.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense.

Among the targets struck were 17 air defense systems, six bridges, more than 20 warehouses, and more than 30 command posts.

In accordance with the President’s directive, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and units of the Defense Forces are systematically working to intensify strikes deep into enemy territory.

Every destroyed radar station, air defense system, and electronic warfare system opens the way for strikes deep into the rear of the Russian Federation’s army. Destroyed bridges complicate logistics. Struck warehouses and command posts reduce the combat readiness of enemy units.
