The Delta State Commissioner, Directorate of Riverine Infrastructure Development, Chief Ebikeme Clark, has said the administration of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori is committed to developing communities across the state, particularly those in difficult riverine terrain.
The commissioner stated this during the final inspection of road projects in Gbaramatu Kingdom, in the Warri South-West Local Government Area.
The commissioner lauded Oborevwori “for transforming the landscape of Gbaramatu Kingdom with the completion of internal road projects in Kantu and Ijaghala communities”.
He described the completion of the projects as a major breakthrough for the riverine communities, noting that residents had, over the years, endured the absence of internal road infrastructure.
