Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, on Wednesday, inaugurated three road projects spanning about 18 kilometres in Ndokwa West Local Government Area.
The inaugurated projects include the 4.5-kilometre Obi-Ibabu/Ibabu Road in Onicha-Ukwuani, Phase One of the 5-kilometre Utagba-Uno/Ndemili Road, and the 8.4-kilometre Etua-Ukpo/Etua-Etiti/Etua-Oliogo Road.
Speaking at the ceremony held in Utagba-Uno, Oborevwori said the projects were part of efforts to open up rural communities, boost economic activities and improve living standards.
He said, “Today is another milestone in our commitment to bring development closer to the people. These roads will boost trade, commerce and rural development in the Ndokwa Nation.”
