Ukrainian service members are undergoing intensive training in Poland with the participation of French instructors as part of the EUMAM Ukraine military assistance mission.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

“Service members are practicing tasks in forested and urban environments, honing the skills required to carry out combat missions. The training is tailored to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and is aimed at further improving the training of personnel,” the statement said.

EUMAM Ukraine is an EU military assistance mission aimed at strengthening the capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to defend the country and counter Russian aggression.

Training for Ukrainian service members under the mission takes place in EU member states with the participation of partner countries.
