Representatives of the Australian Army have joined the training of Ukrainian defenders in Poland.
As Ukrinform reports, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on Facebook.
"Personnel of the training Operation KUDU of the Australian Army 7th Brigade - Australian Army of the Australian Defence Force Defence Australia have joined the training Operation LEGIO, led by the Norwegian Armed Forces Forsvaret in Poland, to jointly conduct high-quality training for the Armed Forces of Ukraine aimed at increasing the effectiveness of Ukrainian units on the battlefield," the statement said.
As noted, during the training Ukrainian and Australian instructors work side by side, creating realistic scenarios. A distinctive feature of this course is testing tactical plans to the point of errors in a safe training environment. This approach helps identify weak points in advance, analyze unit actions in detail, and promptly eliminate shortcomings before entering a real combat zone.
In addition to practicing practical skills, the joint work of allies is aimed at fostering unbreakable fighting spirit and psychological resilience. The training helps Ukrainian defenders quickly adapt to the changing conditions of modern confrontation, develop flexible tactical thinking, and gradually form the hardened mindset of a warrior today in order to confidently defeat the enemy tomorrow, the General Staff said.
