Spotify House Seoul opens Thursday in Seongsu-dong in Seongdong District as a three-story event space built around the listener. The venue at Anderson C has six themed zones, a separate stage visible from each floor, and live performances for the first three nights. Spotify says the edition is framed around being the best place to be a fan, with rooms based on artist proximity, personalized listening and global fandom culture. Daytime access is open to visitors, while evening performances require advance registration.

A vending machine is stocked with snacks the performers picked themselves. A telephone receiver that plays back a message recorded by whichever artist's number you dial. A Jenga set that assembles a playlist as it comes apart.

Spotify has crammed all of this into a three-story building in Seongsu-dong in Seongdong District, one of Seoul's most bustling, trendiest neighborhoods.
