The token hit $190.81 within 2 minutes of opening on Base, then fell to $3.70 as liquidity stood at just $2.5 million

Hunter Biden launched a memecoin called $LAPTOP on Wednesday, and within an hour of its debut on the Base blockchain the token had lost roughly 98% of its value, falling from a peak of $190.81 to as low as $3.70.
An hour after opening, the token's price had settled at $4.77, putting its market capitalization at approximately $1.6 billion — though the liquidity pool backing it contained only $2.5 million. According to Arkham, the blockchain intelligence firm, the token's fully diluted valuation briefly climbed to $144 billion in early trading even as the liquidity pool contained just $48,000.
